My me made jersey wardrobe

I've recently got really into sewing with jersey fabric and have gone full whack on creating jersey additions to my wardrobe.

With my new Colette Patterns Moneta dress, I've learnt so much about sewing with knits. Take a look at my blog post on that here...

So with that in mind, I grabbed my twin needle and got sewing.

I love the Moneta dress, but I've been after a super casual t-shirt dress for a while now. With leftover fabric from my Moneta, I drafted a bit of a hack to the pattern. I extended the bodice into an a-line skirt. Voila! I've now made two of these, because they are so comfortable! It's like wearing pyjamas outside, which is totally acceptable.

I bought a similar stripe fabric from Goldhawk Road with the promise to make my sister a dress. Soooo I made another Moneta for her.

And finally, my first attempt at the Sew Over It Ultimate Trousers. The pattern is wonderful, I'm just not really a trouser wearer. I had such trouble choosing fabric for this pattern so I ended up with a polka dot stretch cotton from Goldhawk Road.

I made up the pattern, and due to the fabric, I simply turned the trousers into leggings. My ultimate leggings are figure hugging, elasticated, and completely different from the original pattern BUT I love them. They're super comfortable and perfect for the warmer weather.
